Copper tinning is a process used to coat copper surfaces with a thin layer of tin. During copper tinning, the copper surface is cleaned and prepared to ensure proper adhesion of the tin coating. This may involve removing any oxides, contaminants, or surface imperfections through processes like degreasing, pickling, or mechanical cleaning. Once the copper surface is adequately prepared, it is immersed in a bath of molten tin or subjected to a hot-dipping process.
