Aluminum bronze rod is manufactured and supplied by Vimal Metals, one of India’s top manufacturers.Welded and cast alloys are the two most prevalent types of aluminum alloys that contain bronze. Because it has roughly 83% copper, the aluminum bronze rod is appropriate for use in maritime applications. Generally quite resistant to copper, marine water has a salinity of about 3.5%. Nickel aluminum bronze round bars function splendidly in high sodium chloride environments, unlike some steel alloys that could rust easily. These alloys often result in the formation of an aluminum film that serves as a protective layer, much like a patina on copper.

The formed alumna film forms a protective barrier to the surface of the nickel aluminum bronze round bar and is both rigid and adhesive. As a matter of fact, the alloy exhibits a significantly stronger alumna-level formation than either brass alloys or tin bronze alloys. Similar to most alloys containing copper, the UNS C61400 aluminum bronze filler rod has strong corrosion resistance. Pure, unalloyed copper has a naturally occurring pinkish-orange tinge, but alloying, or diluting the metal, causes the color to alter. The 954 Aluminum Bronze Round Bar’s alloy becomes golden in color due to the addition of aluminum, which is extremely bright silver.
